FRUIT IS RIPE

I worked as the cinematographer on FRUIT IS RIPE,, capturing the journey of a group of first-generation Chinese immigrants in Alberta as they revived traditional farming practices. Filming across four seasons, I focused on documenting the natural progression of their work and the challenges they faced. The vérité style allowed me to immerse in their daily lives, capturing the rhythms of the changing environment and the intimate, unfiltered moments that shaped their story. It was an incredible experience to see their dedication unfold through the lens.
